A reminder that when you are sharing that viral video showing police brutality in broad daylight, proceed with caution and blur the image of the young girl. In fact and in law, that child is NOT a criminal, but a victim of poor parenting. #StopTheKillings
I know how you feel, that it’s easier to blame a kid for being the ”trigger” that set gruesome actions in place, but the narrative should always be, ”Who shot the gun in the first place? Who ended the lives of two people who are already at a disadvantage?
Why very people meant to serve and protect us are killing us? Who are they mandated to serve and protect if not the people of this country?”

I can’t imagine how people would subtweet me over this issue just because I think that a mere kid should not be held accountable in the same way as her father.
