Leaving adult dependents out means adults with significant disabilities and the families who support them get less than everyone else.

Cool and good. #CripTheVote https://twitter.com/jstein_wapo/status/1340715725837766661
$600 is a ridiculously small amount of money, but it’s more than nothing. Adult dependents are less likely to benefit from the UI bump and extension — Some have never been employed in the first place.
Out of curiosity — @JStein_WaPo who wanted to cut adult dependents out, as a sticking point?
According to my sources, the bill also has nothing for long-term services and supports. I guess we’re done “protecting” our seniors?
So the funding to support disabled people in their own homes is going to get cut AND their families aren’t going to get money to support them either.

Good and cool.
I’m going to write about this in my newsletter without paywall, so stay tuned.
