PT Cruisers are proof that Satan is real.
I owned that thing for 10 years and had 8 sets of tires on it. Eventually, mechanics figured out the metal on the wheels wouldn't bond to the tire, so they always went flat. Unfixable. I had to inflate the tires every time I drove it.

The most expensive sex of my life was at a Chrysler dealership. Their dealers fucked me so hard and so often on repairs that I'll never deal with one again. Car dealerships and colleges are the most predatory institutions in the US. Tesla did it right.
I swear to God, women at stoplights saw me in that PT Cruiser and VISIBLY had this reaction. 10 years of this.
The PT Cruiser was also vulnerable to weather. The AC didn't work for 9 of the 10 years I owned it, so I was a sweaty mess showing up to work in the summer. In the winter, it wouldn't start in sub zero temperatures. I lived in MN, so I had to get it jumped by coworkers/neighbors.
You can't allow evil of this magnitude to exist in the world. So I had to send my PT Cruiser to hell by crushing it with a 60 ton war machine.

Why did I buy a PT Cruiser? I wanted to learn to drive a manual transmission, and there were limited options.
I love learning new things. Knowing how to drive a stick is useful as we rent cars while traveling. I also learned I want nothing to do with the legacy auto industry.
