🧵Debunking the artificially aging khachkar workshop: These photos were made by a Russian family in 2015 (travel-bloggers). You can find them in the blog http://kirill-anya.ru/2015/caucasus/24.html. These Khachkars are near the Kotavank monastery graveyard in Armenia. (1/4)
These khachkars are at the base of the steps going up to Sevanavank monastery, which is an undoubtedly Armenian sight and not in Karabakh at all. As you can see here https://www.dreamstime.com/group-old-khachkar-armenian-cross-stones-stairs-up-to-sevanavank-monastery-sevan-peninsula-armenia-image165104381 (2/4)
And finally, the picture about the alleged workshop where khachkars are artificially aged with vinegar is from this website https://varandej.livejournal.com/1065846.html . This blog is about the restoration of the Palace of Meliks and the St. Hovhannes church in Togh village. (3/4)
