In 2018, I was running for office and local neighbor invited me to Pork Producers tour of facilities. We had to wear masks and booties. Zero complaints about freedoms being sacrificed.

I was only Democrat on a bus of 30+ people. GOPers will wear masks to protect bacon, I can assure you.

Funny how getting on a tour bus run by a host organization with THEIR well-being on the line (millions$$$ in livestock), folks follow precautions.

But frame it as "personal freedom" and folks start bellowing at the top of their lungs.

Claiming to be independent or libertarian is a lot different than acting like it.

I hope we as a country are prepared to exercise our rights as well as our responsibilities when it comes to the #CovidVaccine.
