An important thread about the future of this account

When I joined Twitter, I did it because it gave me a chance like no other. To be able to make points which I want to share with the world, show off any skill and technique I've developed, and make myself heard.
2/11

Unfortunately, however, most of the time, not more than 5 or sometimes 20 people take notice of any joke, statement, or personal project which I’ve worked hard on, and everyone else gets attention and thousands of likes and respect while I fall off into obscurity.
3/11

Last night, I tried to make a variant of a joke about the new Tier 4 restrictions which went largely unnoticed and hardly got any likes. I tried to repost it again and again in the hopes to make it go viral and make my thoughts on the matter clear to the wider public,
4/11

but still it went largely unnoticed. A few minutes later though, another account made the same version of the joke as me, and they got thousands of likes and the attention which I hoped to earn from my joke.
5/11

Though I got support for my plagiarism case and that the account who stole my joke is reputable for stealing other people's idea, I was left devastated by what happened. I put a lot of thought into my work and what I post, yet the wider public don't notice
6/11

I'm jealous of accounts like @RexChapman or @JimMFelton, or @StuartHumphryes, or @MarieAnnUK, who post similar types of the content I post about or make and want to share that get swarmed with attention the moment they upload it.
7/11

Yes, some of these folks might already be celebrities, but I feel left out. I enjoy doing what I do, and I relished the opportunity this site brought me, but in the end, I feel disappointed. It's not fair that my colorizations and posts and edits are overshadowed by others
8/11

My Doctor Who/Exorcist crossover fan edit? Hardly any notoriety

My colorized photos? Not more than 3 or no likes/ retweets at all

My political posts? Hardly any attention

Thoughts on things like my favorite albums? No awareness
9/11

While attention comes second to me, I find it still to be quite important for finding myself. I want to show others what I can do, I wanted my talents to be acknowledged. And while some of my posts did go how I wanted them too, that only happens once in a blue moon
10/11

With all of that being said, I feel very sad about it, and I'm considering quitting Twitter. I've tried more than enough times to make a name for myself here on this site, to show off things like my colorization work to the world, yet the majority have turned a blind eye
11/11

While it's a decision which has been very difficult to make, and while it's something I might not stand by, I feel like that's the least I can do now. If any more of my posts go unnoticed by the wider public, then I'm probably shutting this account down
Extra:

As this thread won't have anything remotely eye catching, this'll go unnoticed. However, if there's anything I can leave to prove my work if people see it. Here's some of my colorized photos below
