I’m going to say some things that are not going to be popular with Trump supporters, but I believe they need to be said.

I honestly do not mean to insult or downgrade anyone.

But there are hard truths in this world, as we all know, and sometimes
they need to be said.

There are some very intelligent people who are engaged in distorting truths.

They are very good at it, mixing a lot of actual truth with just enough distortions to render what you believe after you finish listening to them to be the truth, when it’s not.
Now comes the hard part.

A lot of you are not well educated. You cannot research adequately enough to discover that you are being lied to daily. Plus you’re struggling just to put food on the table and don’t really have time to spend hours researching.
And therein lies a difference.

I can research in 10 minutes things that it would take you hours or days to find.

So can they.

If you are truly interested in finding out who is telling the truth, and who is not, I can tell you how to find answers in minutes instead of days.
But it will take a few minutes of your time to learn something.

It’s not difficult.

In fact, I suggest you print out a cheat sheet and put it on the wall next to your computer, or keep it handy.

Google “Boolean Search.”

Print out the search connecters.

Use them.
That’s not the end though, and again, I do not intend to insult anyone…

Some of you do not have a very good understanding of what you read.

Some of you are functionally illiterate.

That makes it easy to take a sentence or statement, out of an entire article or speech,
and present it to you as saying something different than what you would have understood if you had read the entire article or listened to the entire speech.

Further, it is sometimes presented with another supposed fact that is from an entirely different conversation.
This is done so that, in your mind, you connect the two different things so as to reach a conclusion that is untrue.

They count on you not either having the time to check what they say, or not having the ability to research and comprehend the truth.

This is called sophistry.
Their arguments sound good, on the surface, but if you dig into them, they don’t make any sense.

Further, these arguments are designed to play on your emotions, to outrage you or cause knee-jerk reactions making you want to punch someone.

Stop and think about something.
All of you have Democratic friends or family.

What makes you think other Democrats are different from them?

Every society has radicals, but they are called “radicals” because there are so few of them.

Otherwise they would be moderates, wouldn’t they?
Granted they are vocal, and some people who lack moral character follow them.

There are “Jim Jones” in the world, and Charlie Mansons.

And there are people who will worship and follow them.

But the majority of people are just like you.
The majority of Democrats are just like you.

Both Republicans and Democrats have abortions.

Both Republicans and Democrats own guns.

Both Republicans and Democrats have children they love.

Both Republicans and Democrats have jobs at all levels of the job market.
Both Republicans and Democrats own businesses.

Both Republicans and Democrats go to church.

Both Republicans and Democrats pay taxes.

Both Republicans and Democrats have died for this country.

Both Republicans and Democrats are immigrants.
Both Republicans and Democrats are Americans.

Why would you ever be led to believe different?

The reason is because someone has something to gain by misleading you, and you can bet it won’t be you.

Think about it.

Take your time.

I’ll wait.
