Papu Gomes is by far the most impressive, however that is likely because Atalanta was on in 2019/20 and he racked up the most starts. Also it has to come into question wether the reason he had amazing stats is because he’s playing in a system that suits him

In Addition Papu Gomes is 32 and would certainly be a short term option. Eriksen and Isco are both 28 and they both are top players and have proven that in their careers. There stats are okay but nothing incredible to suggest that they would be worth it at age 28.

Houssem Aouar is an outstanding player and still very young, there’s a reason we’ve been so heavily linked with him. However he is not an out and out number 10 so if he signs for the gunners another signing might have to come with him in that attacking midfield position.

Also his price tag would be very high reportedly up to £60 million. Might not be a deal that Arsenal can afford in the difficult January transfer window. This leaves Lorenzo Pellegrini and Emiliano Beundia. They both have good age profiles and have room to improve.

Both have impressive key pass stats and very similar goals and assist numbers. Pellegrini is more of a physical player due to his height and Beundia is more of a nippy better dribbler and defensively capable. Emi is prem proven and I feel would be a better fit for Arsenal.
