Electoral College Act (ECA) of 1887 establishes procedures for contested electoral votes.
Joint session Jan 6. Pence will preside.
Senate and House will debate separately for 2 hours
Vote
Dems control House
Trump will lose with this route BUT What if....

2/5“What is the Senate never finishes voting?” #JeremyMayer from George Mason University presented this interesting scenario. ECA limits each challenge to 2 hours of debate; 4 states questioned - GA,WI,MI and PA. 4 challenges x2 hours =8 hours of delay.....
Electoral votes can be challenged *individually*or collectively. Votes will most likely be challenged separately. GOAL WILL BE TO DELAY, not win. 100s on individual votes x 2 will take until the deadline of Jan 20....
If no electoral winner is decided, the SENATE chooses VP; the HOUSE chooses the PRESIDENT. 2/3 of Senators required to be present. If Dems choose to walk out, Rules allow Senators to be ARRESTED and DRUG back into the Chamber!!!!
If House fails to choose Trump (because Pelosi claims illegal process ie.), PENCE will be acting President. If Senate also fails by Noon Jan 20, PELOSI will act as President until the President is chosen. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_Count_Act
