3. While Tre Brown couldashoulda been game MVP, we could say the same for Tre Norwood, who was all over the field making plays, including an INT.
4. The DL played outstanding. Bonnito spent all day in the backfield, as did Perkins and Winfrey. Outstanding day by DL.

5. Perkins also lined up in the neutral zone roughly a dozen times. Finally got whistled in 3rd quarter.

8. Have I ever made it to #8 before mentioning the offense? Rattler played outstanding. He deserved the MVP, although I still say Brown should’ve won it. He’s going to be soooo good.

19. Can’t remember the offense wasting that many great field position opportunities. Well, since Baylor.
20. It felt like Lincoln tried to be more aggressive in 2nd half and it got the team out of rhythm a bit. Needed to establish Rhamondre and wear down ISU.

21. In past games, we criticized LR for running ball and not keeping the pedal down. But in those two losses, we did t have Rhamondre, or a line that had gelled. Line never became stellar, but RS could move chains. LR’s lead-protecting calls need to consider RS can kill clock.
