The special agent in charge of Minneapolis' FBI field office says, "We haven't seen any trend of antifa folks who were involved here in the criminal activity or violence."

He said a "smattering" of people w/ no outward allegiance were responsible for damage.
Dozens of federal and local charges also don't support narratives from local Democrats of organized outside forces being responsible for much of the violence.
Instead, the documents present a much more complicated narrative of splintered and disorganized crowds with no single goal or affiliation, and in some cases contradictory motives, that vastly outnumbered police and took advantage of a lawless scene.
Two guilty pleas last week show wide chasm of motives for those who participated in riots. Dylan Robinson (left) and Benjamin Teeter, both 22 yrs old at the time, traveled to Mpls to take part. They may have appeared to be on same side. But they came for very different reasons.
Dylan + others breached the 3rd Precinct, apparently caught up in the raucous crowd chanting "burn it down," and helped others light Molotov cocktails used to burn the building. He came from Brainerd. He pleaded to conspiracy to commit arson.
Teeter is a Boogaloo Bois who came from N Carolina. He wanted to ramp up violence. He talked about killing a white supremacist, stealing bombs from nat guard, coordinating attacks against police. He pleaded to attempting to sell weapons to Hamas to fund Boogaloo revolution.
TL;DR: It's more complicated than politicians on both sides of the aisle have led us to believe.
