Convinced this team would slap
[THREAD]
The balance in this side is so good.

One of Werner’s problems atm is he has to pull wide and pretend he’s a playmaker. Playing with Havertz and Reece simplifies it massively. They keep the width and do the playmaking from that side, Werner focuses purely on getting in the ...
... box and scoring goals. He would thrive there.

From left hand side CHO does the playmaking.

We know as a playmaker from the left he’s unreal (see the game below) https://twitter.com/emgcompss/status/1207346176049192960
He’s also got that little dinked cross from deep outside the box to a tee. We’ve seen it countless times, to michy v forest is an example but he’s done it loads.

Werner would feast off this type of ball, and it would be so good at unlocking teams.
We’ve also seen Mount and Hudson-Odoi work really well together at times, and the linkup balance and rotation between Mount Callum and Chilwell would be seriously good.
He’d be a sort of Firmino/Mertens type link man. Can drop deep, knit the whole front 3 together, rotate with Werner and CHO, even Havertz at times.

Pulisic dropping deep and driving through the middle of teams would be Hazard-esque, and I write in there about how good...
... his runs are and how he still would be a very legitimate goal threat.
The whole front 3 is very balanced and would do well against all types of defences. The fluidity and rotation would be very hard to mark. Werner floating central and out to the left, Pulisic going to both flanks, Callum switching wings. You can’t defend this level of fluidity.
Only thing it lacks is someone to go long to (Tammy), but we don’t always need that and he can be used whenever we something like that.
Another man not in the side is Ziyech, but rotating in at RW (probably with Tammy at CF and Pulisic or CHO down the left) and with Havertz if we’re playing like this he will play a load.
Giving Mount the more industrious 8 role and giving Havertz more freedom will help him too.

Him threading balls to a LHS of CHO, Pulisic, Mount, Chilwell is dangerous and he’s got that punched one to Werner in his locker too.

He’d also profit from CHO’s balls over the top.
This side is also much more balanced.

All 3 of our primary playmakers are on the right hand side. Bringing CHO in balances the attack, and frees up Werner.
We know what the back 5 is, I won’t go into that. But this attack could really hurt teams. The balance is so good, we’d be one of the most exciting teams around.
