First off, who are the Christian Institute?

They're a UK faith based organisation that vigorously campaigns against LGBT+ rights and women's reproductive rights.

How and why are they aligned with LGB Alliance and the GC Movement? Let's investigate.

Here's a list of the Christian Institute's latest publications.

Have a read of the topics. Notice anything familiar?

Yes these are all common talking points of the Gender Critical movement and LGB Alliance.

Let's start with Banning Conversion Therapy.

The Christian Institute is against a ban, and specifically ask what if it applies to trans people?

LGB Alliance are also critical of LGBT+ conversion therapy bans, specifically if they include trans conversion therapy.
Worth noting that many mainstream religious leaders support a ban on LGBT+ conversion therapy.

The Christian Institute are far right evangelicals who oppose LGBT+ rights. Odd that LGB Alliance and GCs align so closely with Christian conservatives... https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-55326461
Next: Christian Institute published guidance on Scottish Hate Crime legislation.

Which follows the exact same line as LGB Alliance who published ads in the Scottish press.

They also shared articles written by Alliance Defending Freedom the US anti-LGBT+ evangelical lobby group.
Christian Institute published a guide on RSE (Relationship & Sex Education) it specifically references "transgender ideology".

Their campaign is near identical to that of LGB Alliance, recycling the self same talking points, they are again in alignment with the Christian right.
Christian Institute's next publication is on The Transgender Craze

I could do a whole thread on this, but suffice to say, it reads like an LGB Alliance press release, recycling many of the common Gender Critical talking points.

Christian Institute's next publication is on Social Contagion, and under "biblical view" they discuss the "recent explosion in gender confusion and transgender ideology".

Sound familiar? Yes, social contagion is a common anti-trans gender critical & LGB Alliance talking point.
In The Christian Institute's RSE Guide For Parents there's a whole section devoted to trans and gender issues.

Would it surprise you to learn that it recycles the exact same talking points as the LGB Alliance and their RSE campaign?

The RSE guide mentions LGBT issues.

It says 1 in 6 think gay relationships are "always" or "mostly wrong"

"Amongst parents in some parts of England, the proportion will be significantly higher. More people will disagree with same-sex marriage and even more with transgenderism."
One might wonder how the so called LGB Alliance are so closely aligned with an anti-LGBT evangelical Christian group?

It's not just the Alliance mind you, the Christian Institute has been promoting Gender Critical ideology strongly for the couple of years. GCs 🤝 Christian Right
The Gender Critical movement are men & women who oppose trans rights & often see themselves as feminist.

The Christian Institute's RSE guidance has a page on Feminism which states modern liberal & third wave feminists are usually trans inclusive. Exclusion is a radical position.
Key takeaway from disinformation research
"The objective of a modern disinformation campaign generally isn’t to drive one political outcome—rather to sow division among people or subtly drive wedges with respect to a politically or socially charged issue." https://www.nortonlifelock.com/blogs/research-group/identifying-sockpuppet-accounts-social-media
I didn't start this campaign to create division, but to ask the media to be honest about who accounts like LGB Alliance are & who they are allied with.

The media and the gender critical movement stoke division. It's time to say no more. We stand together. https://www.change.org/p/press-media-stop-uncritically-platforming-anti-lgbt-hate-group-lgb-alliance
