What does dismissal / dissolution of parliament mean?
- Dissolution is the formal term for the end of a Parliament. It occurs ahead of a general election for a new Parliament. In simpler words, all members of parliament have been laid down from their positions.

What does it mean for MPs?
- When Parliament is dissolved, every seat in the lower house becomes vacant. This means there are no longer any MPs. Those who were MPs before dissolution cease to represent their constituents and lose access to parliamentary facilities and resources.

The parliament has the power to vote on drafts which then gets passed as a bill, which then becomes a law. The parliament also has the power to impeach a President / Prime Minister with majority votes. Dissolution means, they no longer have the power to impeach KP Oli.
