I've read this year.
Right from his childhood to his death, the author has marvelously articulated every bit of detail.
Sharing some insights

Jobs & Wozniak's work on a hobby project(Blue Box) was the key driver behind the foundation of Apple.
It gave them the confidence that they could really put something into production.
They realized what they could do together with Woz's engineering skills & Jobs' vision.

Throughout his life, Steve Jobs was fascinated by the need for "perfection". Every single detail of a product was valuable to him.
This is what he said on the rounded corners we see on every Apple device :
"It's not just a little thing, it's something we have to do right."

Jobs was among the very few to have been at the intersection of technology and literature. And this quality enabled him to have a deeper sense of products and treat them like art.
"We make progress by eliminating things,by removing the superfluous"

Jobs' was highly influenced by
Eastern Spirituality early on in his youth. His visit to India in 1974 changed his entire worldview. The experiences &learnings remained with him for a lifetime.

Jobs was a magical genius, someone whose insights came out of the blue. This made a lot of his peers at Apple live in a "reality distortion" where Jobs would make them achieve something that wasn't quite possible.
He believed that the norms of the world don't apply to him.

Jobs always believed in end-to-end control for every product. He craved control& indulged in the uncompromising temperant of an artist. Apple had tightly integrated hardware, software& content.
