I have a dozen or so gifts that I cannot wait to see my people open. I get so excited when I find (or make/have made) something that I know is just going to surprise & delight them. That is a big part of Christmas for me. I love seeing those faces.
The gift of giving is so much more fulfilling than any gift you will ever receive. Donating, acts of service, or even just a note to say “thank you” or “I appreciate you” mean so much.
We honor a tradition of giving during Christmastime & it fulfills the soul to see those smiles. It’s not just about presents. Things. It’s to see the joy in our loved ones awe & gratitude at our care & thoughtfulness of our gifts.
It doesn’t have to be profound or expensive or anything otherwise commercially inclined. It’s the act. It’s the kindness. It’s the attention. It’s the love. It’s the Spirit.
