Tears of joy and satisfaction were into those eyes. A long very long wait could be seen into her eyes.

एष सेतुर्मया बद्धः सागरे सलिलार्णवे ॥
तवहेतोर्विशालाक्षि नलसेतुः सुदुष्करः ।

Shree Ram looked into her eyes, Her large-comely eyes are so beautiful, filled with the glow of the victory of her hope and faith. Those eyes had massage for Shree Ram that she always knew that one day Shree Ram will save her.

तया स राजर्षिसुतोऽभिरामया समेयिवानुत्तमराजकन्यया।
अतीव राम श्शुशुभेऽभिरामया।विभु श्श्रिया विष्णुरिवामरेश्वर:।।1.77.32।।

Rama, son of Rajarshi Dasaratha, united with the most charming princess, shone like Visnu, Lord of the gods in the company of Lakshmi.

The final union happened at the end and the sorrow and the pain of separation ended finally.
