PSA: As someone who supported Bernie twice and who threw things at my TV every time he called Strom Thurman's Good Friend™ and Tara Reade's assailant "my good friend Joe Biden": find another argument against Dore's proposal that doesn't involve the words "Tulsi" and "Gabbard".
I adore Bernie. HIs ideas are desperately needed, and he genuinely cares about the people he represents.

But good Lord, the man has some piss-poor judgment when it comes to choosing his friends.
He stumped for Hillary Clinton, more than she did for herself, and told all of us with a straight face that she'd make an excellent president.

And for this, he was rewarded with everlasting scorn and contempt by the neoliberal assholes, Hillary included.
Then, in the middle of a pandemic that could have killed him, he stumped for a guy who allegedly sexually assaulted multiple women and was a close friend to the guy who coined the term "Dixiecrat". And called him "my good friend" so many times that it drove his supporters nuts.
I don't have to validate Dore's manners or his personality. His proposal is a sound strategy. Hell, it should have been AOC's strategy.

So if your argument is "jImMy dOrE lUvS aN aSsAd tOaDy", try arguing the merits of the proposal, and maybe save yourself the embarrassment.
