Kimberly Klacik spent $89 per vote in 2020. Her opponent, who won by over 40 points, spent $4 per vote.
I just post facts.
I just post facts.
For context, that’s nearly 5x what Beto O’Rourke spent per vote to lose to Ted Cruz in 2018.
We’re living through a golden age of grifting but Klacik is a no-question first ballot hall of famer.
Although I will say that this still pales in comparison to local trust fund kid and area heart throb Jon Ossof who spent an eye-popping $240 (!!) per vote in his 2018 loss, about double what either Amy McGrath or Jaime Harrison achieved in 2020.
