Boeheim: “Alan (Griffin’s) block is one of the best plays I’ve ever seen in the Dome.”
Boeheim: “We’re not making enough threes. We had some opportunities... We just have made them. I think the players adjusted... and drove to the basketball”
Boeheim: “In the first half, Griffin was standing, watching. Second half he got in the lane, got on the boards. He needs to not worry about his shot.”
Boeheim: “Buffalo has a really good team. Physically, we weren’t as strong as them, but we battled.”
Boeheim: “We didn’t stop them much, that’s for sure.”
Boeheim: “The last (possession in regulation) was exactly what we wanted. We wanted to get the ball to Marek, like he’s had it all year, and he slipped.”
Boeheim (vehemently): “One game isn’t going to change anything. We’ve got three guards and we’re going to use all. If you guys want to coach go get a high school team and coach.”
Boeheim: “It’s painfully obvious that we need some sort of presence inside. We need some more physicality there. Marek gives us the advantage on the offensive end. But we need a presence.”
