this part of the policy states that they can look through your camera even when you haven’t taken a picture. all camera usage is recorded.

instagram now has authorization to view and copy your address book, call log, and SMS history. this is a huge violation of privacy.

this is the scariest part. instagram can now look at how long you view each post. they log how long you view each post and how you interact with it, collecting information about you with each action you take.

this speaks for itself.

this has been an issue many of us have had with google before. they claim to use your information to personalize your ads, but let’s be real. how many of us actually care? it’s an ad for god’s sake. collecting all information about the device you use instagram from is horrible.

both of these describe how information is collected. everything you’ve ever done on your phone is collected, analyzed, and copied. this is not privacy.

this states that they can share your private collected data with their affiliates. this means you should delete facebook as well, as they are affiliated with instagram.

this claims they use this information for “social good”, but we all know what instagram’s definition of social good is. they already don’t investigate child p//rnography claims. they delete posts of people coming out about their abuse. it happened to me. this claim is bullshit.

this can technically be good or bad. however this may be used, this means accounts that have previously been terminated can now be gone for good.

i HIGHLY expect those of you who preached ACAB back in june when BLM blew up to get rid of instagram. this can be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to you, to minorities, to anarchists, and to anyone who doesn’t fit into the small spectrum that is democrat and republican. think for yourself.
