Finished Scums Wish! Thread with my thoughts below, be warned, there will BE SPOILERS!
So, firstly I can see why some people hate this anime. If you don't like sex, NTR like themes, emotionally manipulative characters etc, the this is not the anime for you! Its fair to say that this is also an amime that is experienced rather than enjoyed. /1
That said, there are some positives for me. Whilst l the characters (bar 1, poss 2) start out as absolute trash, there is a definite sense that they end up as better people than they were at the start. Even with the terrible things being done by terrible people/2
The story was well done and engaging, with each character being fairly well fleshed out and their motives explained. I was worried that the one non-trash person would end up getting hurt the most, but at least it did not turn out that way. He got what he wanted!/3
I also have to say that I never thought I would find another female teacher character who managed to make Hina from Domestic Girlfriend look like a Saint by comparison, but Scums Wish managed it! There are plenty of negatives with the subject matter that 4

Speaks for itself if you have watched it but I also found the jumping around in time in the last few episodes annoyed me. I also didn't like how the worst character (Akane!) Got such a good ending, but at least she (seems) to have changed. I am happy they didn't throw/5
Hanabi together with someone for the hell of it. I also liked the contrast with how she dealt with an unwanted confession in the beginning of the anine vs the last episode, which was a great way of showing how she had developed as a person and changed/6
As I said at the start its not an anime that is enjoyed, but I do like watching animes with darker themes like this every once in a while. I would rate it a 7/10! Now to watch something wholesome and cute to scrub my brain!/end
