Really not a good thing we’re reaching Prohibition style levels of crusading against porn and sex work, and conflating them both with trafficking and abuse. Even worse when there’s an international cult in Qanon that is also obsessed with this. This is reaching zealotry levels.

The model selling foot pics and the cam model doing a live stream and so on, aren’t trafficking people nor abusing children. This has real world consequences and a fuck ton of innocent people who will be hurt because of religious and pseudo-religious extremist zealotry here.

I used Prohibition deliberately because the roots of prohibition were in the Religious Right, and that was where the main push came from and it blossomed from there.

Oh and let’s be clear: this is aimed at hurting LGBTQ people too. And it’s no surprise the Evangelical organizations and other Religious Right groups are behind this push as much as they are the anti-trans bullshit they’re pushing so heavily in the UK and Brazil, etc.
