Lots of questions about why this vaccine seemed so "rushed" as compared to other vaccine trials
1. Lots more COVID cases unfortunately occurring - given the disease burden
2. Federal health review in parallel with completion of the study
3. Reassignment of +++ reviewers

This isn't an indication the vaccine is unsafe or rushed, this is pooling resources such that the trials end and are analyzed as effectively as possible. The level of data and followup are on the same ballpark as our prior vaccines trials such as Shingrix, Zostivax, and HPV

The push to more resources and a standardized review here are because we have very few other options for COVID controls - and while we could go through the 3-5 year process (with the same dataset) - there will be a number of excess deaths along the way to get to the same ends
