One of the best perks of having your own business is writing things off

Charging things to the business you probably would’ve bought anyway

A few examples of where I’ve been able to take advantage below

//Thread//
I sold my car to the business

We’ve used it for deliveries so it counts

-Insurance, gas, repairs, etc all covered by the business
Cell phone

This is an easy one. Our business has 40 phones so adding me to the plan made it cheap and easy
I reimbursed myself for all my moving expenses from Chicago

Movers, staging costs, marketing costs, all reimbursed and written off
If I have to drive I reimburse myself for the lunch I buy

This is relatively small, but $15-20 every time I drive adds up
My dad and I have “meetings” at Outback Steakhouse

The finest steak restaurant in a 50 mile radius
Bought a new pair of shoes specifically for delivering packages

That can be written off as well

Added a rain jacket, and some athletic clothes I wear everyday as a “uniform”
None of these are massive but they add up

Let me know if anybody has any suggestions where I could be taking advantage more
