i thank my dad the most for instilling in me at a young age to be anarchistic

he was a punk during the 80s, so he was the real deal

at this point more than ever i think the anarchic approach to politics is most appropriate

the idea of 'working things out' clearly never works
it's a constant losing war, you win battles here and there but big picture things never change much

there needs to be actual change spurred on by the upheaval of the people

nothing will ever change otherwise
when i say 'working things out' i'm specifically talking about politicians, leaders, parties and etc that are part of the current system

everyday people you see on the street are the people someday you're gonna need to align with one way or another to fight said system
some people will be so brainwashed that they'll never change, mostly on the left

and in turn they too can be considered enemies

but we have to allow people a path to redemption even if their views and beliefs have been fucking rotten in the past
if taking down the current system should require me to align with communists, anarcho-capitalists or whatever group i will providing our core goal is the same and they can be trusted to some degree

after that we can fight/argue and build from there
complete ideal thinking here on my part, but just shooting the shit cus it's been on my mind
i want to be in a position for when that time potentially comes that my ego won't get in the way of seeing the bigger picture

even if that means aligning with people i might detest ideologically for the most part
even if that time doesn't come it's still a good mindset imo

i'm happy to sit and talk to anyone with pretty much any ideology over a beer

i'm willing to listen and even if i don't agree, i'll at least try to understand their stance to my fullest ability and find common ground
my goal has never been to make enemies

seeking enemies in your life is the trait of a person who hates themselves imo

there's a lot more at stake

that being said sometimes people are just so far up their own arse they can't co-operate, in that case fuck em
once more normies understand that the left/right dichotomy is just another method of division this rambling thread would be more likely to happen

however like i've said before, i think it might be too late and tbh i think people enjoy tribalism too much anyway
like, i'm guilty of tribalism as well - everyone is in their own way

it's just some people take it so far that they become blinded to everything else around them that doesn't fit into the reality they created for themselves
in fact it comes off as full on autism when i see people who can't talk or be around people who don't have the exact same political leanings as them

so it's probably a mixture of the tism as well as tribalism sometimes too
tribalism can be great for lots of reasons let me make that clear, and can be an incredible driving force

but when that tribalism becomes one of the primary factors in your life i highly doubt your sanity
