We need a clear purpose for the strike.

We need to figure out how the strike itself will accomplish that purpose.

Stop thinking of protests are parades.

In 1933, California had a farm-worker strike.

What is unique about agriculture is that it rots. If you don't pick it up in time. You can ruin the crops for years if it isn't reseeded etc.

So, for agricultural worker, just stopping work is pretty disruptive.
In Michigan, in 1933, they sat down on the machines so that it could not be used by scabs.
