The reason you haven't seen the journalists who cover this day in and day out make noise about it:
1) ACIP hasn't even voted on this phase yet!
2) supply/logistical issues are the clear barrier to saving lives right now.
3) states have already hammered out their priority groups

The ACIP working group and National Academies have met dozens of times in hours-long meetings to discuss the ethics and epidemiology of one of the most difficult public health questions in history. you guys aren't mavericks, you're assholes.
