English Regions, Scotland, Wales, NI & RoI #covid19 cases per 100,000 residents reported in the last 7 days

England increased from 247 cases per 100k yesterday to 257 today

West Midlands moved back above East Midlands

North East dropped below North West
London increased by 29.5 cases per 100k today - an average rise of 25.5 per 100k each day for the last 10 days

31 of the 32 boroughs increased

All boroughs are now in England's Top 100

@rbKC had the 2nd highest percentage increases in England today
The East of England increased by 22.0 cases per 100k today - the 20th day in a row with an increase

Yesterday @ThurrockCouncil @Brentwood_BC & @RochfordDC had increases > 100 per 100k

Today @EppingForestDC & @CastlePointBC have triple digit increases
The South East increased by 14.0 cases per 100k today - the 16th day in a row with an increase

The top of the table seems to have calmed down a bit

But some big increases further down the table

@WokingCouncil had the third largest percentage increase in England today
The West Midlands increased by 3.9 cases per 100k today - and moved back above East Midlands

@MyWorcester had the largest increase in the region today (from a relatively low base) and the largest percentage increase of England's 315 local authorities
The East Midlands decreased by 3.3 cases per 100k today - and moved back below West Midlands

24 local authorities decreased
4 unchanged
12 increased

Particularly impressive to see chunky drops in local authorities in the lower half of the table - where it's harder to achieve
The North West decreased by 1.2 cases per 100k today - on top of yesterday's drop of 0.6 per 100k

Yesterday I was concerned that the big decreases in some LAs look a bit too good to be true - I'm still a bit concerned on that front

England has a backlog in tests outstanding
The North East decreased by 8.0 cases per 100k today - and dropped below the North West

Last Saturday the NE increased by 6.9 cases per 100k, so today's decrease looks reasonable in that context

England has a backlog of cases - but unknown if it's even spread across the country
Yorkshire & The Humber decreased by 2.4 cases per 100k today - on top of yesterday's 5.0 per 100k drop

Last Saturday Yorks & Humber increased by 2.4 per 100k

Congratulations to @RmbcPress for dropping out of England's Top 100 local authorities
