And there was so much untapped potential with The Force Awakens. @fangirlJeanne has an excellent thread on how Finn was clearly force sensitive (as was Poe). Interestingly she also makes a valid argument for how that JJ's conception of the Force was-
a misconception, which l wholeheartedly agree with. JJ treats it as source of superpowers, but appears to forgot that it has been emphasized that the Force connects all living things. Simplified it would be the cycle of life but on a deeper & more intimate level.
