/ failure of government: "in March and April, Congress passed an unprecedented $3 trillion in economic relief to combat the coronavirus pandemic and the recession it caused. Since then, Congress has spent months at odds over whether — or how much — to spend on additional relief.
/ But let's agree on problem: not enough ICU beds (thousands short), hundreds of millions of tests short, untold millions of tests for antibodies short, needed to bonus frontline workers $10,000 each (didn't), needed open ethics discussion of vaccine allocation, needed guarantee
/ of free health care for all COVID related issues, including long term effects and physical therapy, needed to have bought twice as much vaccine and to have decided on one-shot not two-shot first wave. Needed to have pandemic response precede econ. recovery.
/ And all this is just from reading the headlines. So what happened; what is still happening. Not saying "both sides." Just asking, isn't describing the situation the first step toward solution, because this is far from over. Truly, I think Jeff Zeints will do a great job, but
/ let's we the people understand the situation clearly.
