Some thoughts on @NYCMayor scheme to pass off developer-driven rezonings as some move towards racial justice 
we are grateful that now tenants and workers all have equal opportunity to be displaced 
if a “housing advocate” only backs the developers plan and not the community’s plan .... they are technically still a housing advocate. but housing for who?
A lot of these housing advocates push for de Blasio rezonings ... but they remain quiet as we make noise and demand he pass the community-based CWG Plan!
we know who has been deep in the struggle against racist rezonings and who have been pretty blatantly funded and backed by real estate. it’s not hard to figure out who’s been doing work for the people, and who’s been working for the mayor and developers.
We stood united this week with dozens of other groups calling for #NoRacistRezonings and we will continue to organize to #UniteAgainstDisplacement
