Thread ~ Important
Make sure to take time to process your thoughts/feelings. Don’t let others shape them or make you feel stupid for how you feel.
Do whats best for you like getting off the internet for a few hours, let yourself feel what you feel. Never have I felt more like👇
I need to not be in the middle & pick a side than I did with this season, & if you do lean towards one side impacts from fandom reaction can hurt.
When I loved an ep some things said/reactions made me feel stupid & bad for loving it.
When I’ve had critiques there’s pressure of👇
“not being a true fan” or not truly loving something if you are critical of it. It can be a cycle of extremes that can challenge how we react to & interpret media which is why it’s important to remember how you felt.
If your thoughts evolve that’s ok & it’s good to take in👇
other perspectives, but don’t forget what you felt & let change be from new understanding/perspective-not because you were pressured towards an extreme or someone makes you feel stupid/wrong for the way you feel.
Everyone reacts to media differently & everyone has different👇
sensitivity levels. People care, & because of that a range of emotions occur just don’t let someone make you feel wrong for feeling how you do.
