One of the biggest criticisms in the UK largely surrounds government messaging and communications, such as unofficially announcing lockdowns in newspapers. @Autism recently released #LeftStranded, a report of how Covid 19 has impacted Autistic individuals. You can read it here:

One of the recurring themes was the uncertainty around the rules, and trying to follow them at short notice. Language and the way things are phrased are important. Most of the people I talked to expressed anxiety over this, and sometimes feeling upset at having to adapt suddenly.
Accessibility benefits everyone. It doesn’t take much to communicate clearly, especially when it’s your job - and during a pandemic. Autistic folk have to deal with this a lot of the time already. Clear communication would benefit all, as well as messaging being to the point.
