educators, how much $ does your school district owe you?

my out-of-pocket expenses for remote learning are a couple thou. i dropped a few gs on a faster laptop w/ a bigger screen so I can Zoom & have 30 tabs open simultaneously

NYC educators are also owed for the Spring Break that we worked free, whose cancellation was justified by both @NYCMayor & our union @UFT with the, tbh, racist assumption that families of color couldn't play their role in flattening the curve w/o us

NYC educators are also *still* owed back pay from years ago. we were scheduled to receive our retro pay last month but only got half of it.

bad enough to IOU an IOU, but in a year where we're having to self-fund the mess we were thrown into by @NYCMayor? unbelievable

& we're having to self-fund even more than usual. @NYCMayor cut Teachers Choice, which was a stipend NYC educators got each year to buy supplies
