This program has been in place since 1987, to develop the next gen of transportation professionals to address the need for safe, efficient, environmentally sound movement of people and goods.3/5
Each UTC is a consortium of colleges/universities that form a unique center of excellence on a specific research topic - a think tank for transportation R & D.4/5
UTCs have been internationally recognized for their ability to lead, innovate, and educate to keep our transportation sector in step with our nation's economic, environmental, and societal goals.5/5
