👉Priyadarshini Jurala Project: Located at Jurala(V) of wanaparthy District. Constructed on Krishna River in the year 1995. Which provides water for 1.5 L acres of land for agriculture. The main crop is paddy
👉Bheema Lift Irrigation Scheme(BLIS)
This project is constructed on Krishna River which connects Bhima- a tributary of Krishna.
For this project water drawn from Fore shore of Jurala Dam a village named Panchadevapahad. From there water is lifted to Kolisagar and Bhima project
This project provides water to 2.2L acres of land for agriculture and drinking water to nearest villages.
👉Rajoli Banda Diversion Scheme (RDS) : It is constructed on Tungabadra River at Rajoli banda near Ieeja of Gadwal District. It provides water to 90k acres oof land for agri.
👉Mahatma Gandhi Kalwakurthy lift irrigation project (KLIP) is a lift irrigation project on River Krishna located in Nagarkurnool district .The lift canal starts from the back waters of Srisailam Dam near Kollapur. The gravity driven
100 kilometer canal provides cultivation for nearly 4,00,000 acres in 300 villages located in constituencies of Kollapur, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Kalwakurthy, Jadcherla and Achampet.
👉The Jawahar Nettempadu Lift Irrigation Scheme(JNLIS) envisages lifting of 21.425 TMC of water from the foreshore of PJP Reservoir to create irrigation for 2.00 lakh acre in the drought prone upland areas of Gadwal and Alampur constituencies covering about 148 villages in 8 mdls
👉Koilsagar project is located in Deverakadra Mandal, in Mahabubnagar District. The project was constructed during 1955 to irrigate an ayacut of 12,000 Acres, under two canals, on the either Flanks of the Project. The capacity of the reservoir is 2.276 TMC.
Sarala Sagar Project is the second biggest dam in Asia with siphon technology. It is the oldest project in India after independence Raja of Wanaparthy Raja Rameshwara Rao constructed this project. It provides water to 5000 acres for irrigation.
👉 Dindi Reservoir is a medium water reservoir across Dindi tributary of River Krishna located near Dindi town in Nagarkurnool Dist. It is part of Srisailam Left Bank Canal It is close to Nagarjunsagar- Srisailam Tiger Reserve, it provides Water to 18000 Acres for irrigation.
