I feel like this would be more helpful 6 months from now and that this kind of thing AT THIS MOMENT only increases suspicion. Like, let vaccinations actually start happening and say nice, encouraging things before you get to the threatening things

Andy Slavitt did a good thread the other day where he described a big group of ppl as “vaccine curious”. Like they aren’t anti but they’re nervous and want to know more and saying you’ll lose your job in this hypothetical future where it’s actually possible to GET a vaccine

Might have its place down the line when other efforts have failed. But this isn’t listening to and respecting the concerns. It’s not even trying.
