I can’t end 2020 without another “I post as I please” rant

Listen. I’m 24. I’m a software developer, speaker & creator of anime-inspired coding tutorials.

I also post selfies & shares bits of my personal life and I’m fucking proud of the diversity you get when you follow me.

I’m being suggested to create a separate accounts and I refuse. I follow ppl who proudly share family photos, political views (whether conservative or lib), sexuality, etc.

Idc I support people sharing with the world whatever they please as long as it doesn’t hurt others.

If you think I’m setting women back because I post selfies of my real self and joke about my dating life, ima need you to unpack that mindset with yourself because it’s not an issue for me.

I may come across as aggressive with this thread but that’s because I truly stand on it

This is my thing. I never asked for their opinion but I also understand this is an open platform where ppl can say what they want.

But that means I also have the freedom to do as I please.

I struggled a lot this year w/ posting selfies in particular because I had to take a step back from creating tech content on my blog & twitch due to personal issues and I didn’t want to just post my face and mental health updates.

But I’m walking into 2021 free & you should too

Update: I never revealed or hinted at the identity of the person who sent the msg because I don’t need to put them on blast.
