Dear lord in heaven
I’ve spent more time thinking about the idiocy of this than I really should. Jesus didn’t claim to be some kind of proto socialist. He claimed to be the son of God. The son of the Old Testament God of the Prophets.
As well as being the fulfilment rather than the destruction of the old laws, belief in God is fairly essential for the son of God & Jeremy Corbyn is an atheist. Christianity isn’t just about despising money lenders & being able to magic up fish & wine in a tight spot.
Debate on what Jesus would have wanted from those who came after him has been hotly debated down the ages. Idea it is embodied by Corbyn is an odd one, to be polite. Jesus might have been as likely to see Bill Gates as an heir.
