caught up to berserk! truly a masterpiece, i can't express how glad i am that i picked it up.

362 chapters of a 10/10 manga is a lot to talk about so here are my favorite moments:

idek where to start but I'll always be amazed by how Miura turned small wars and mercenary groups into supernatural, world-altering events it tied it together by Guts and Griffith alone. Looking back at GA after seeing Guts fight a sea god will always make me smile lol

the world building is so superb. the world of Berserk is always centered around midland but it constantly expands its reach by exploring politics, villages, astral worlds and a wide diversity of character groups/species. It's rich setting never failed to keep me engaged

I can't talk enough about Guts and Griffith, one is a top 2 mc for me and the other is a top 5 antagonist. I loved the rest of the cast as well. Farnese and Serpico are amazing, Skull Knight is so interesting, Schierke is insanely lovable and Isidro/Puck best duo frfr

To keep it brief, Guts and Griffith have one of the best dynamics i've seen, ever. i could make an entire separate thread but i can't state enough how well written they are and how badly i want to see their story play out. Hill of Swords peak berserk btw

berserk and Guts himself really strike a chord with me thematically. the struggle against fate, use of free will, overcoming biases, learning to trust again and so many more drive this series and its characters forward in the most poetic way sometimes
