That concludes my watch of season one. It was an overall great season, everything that is introduced and tackled feels so real. That goes from Rei’s interactions with the people around him, as well as his inner monologues from time to time. I have a feeling it will only continue~

to rise up in my favorites as I finish season two. A couple more things I’d like to point out are that, the way the osts are utilized throughout the season is just so very beautiful, also I’ve said this before but the visuals are absolutely breathtaking.

I have not related as much with a character since Shinji but after coming upon Rei I can now confirm he is now the most relatable character of all time. Maybe even my comfort character.

It seems strange to describe a series as both beautiful and artistic while at the same time being melancholic. I will now go listen to the soundtrack for hours goodbye!
