Alright motherfuckers, let’s GO
Dopamine is the title track from Third Eye Blind’s fifth album:
“Got So High” is the 7th track from Third Eye Blind’s sixth album, “Screamer” (2019);
“Self-Righteous” is the 11th track from the 3rd Third Eye Blind album, “Out of the Vein” (2003), and it features Kimya Dawson on guest vocals;
“Non Dairy Creamer” is the lead single from Third Eye Blind’s 2008 EP “Red Star”, widely hailed as a return to form musically and praised for its socially conscious lyrics;
“Just Wanna Be Your Friend” is the only released track by Puck & Natty, and can be found on 1992’s “90210: The Soundtrack”. Natty would later sue Puck, better known as Stephan Jenkins, over alleged uncredited creative contributions to “Semi Charmed Life”
“From The Curb” is an instrumental skronk thrash groove song laced with samples from Tony Fridianelli’s 1993 album “Breakkneck Speed.” Tony, of course, replaced Kevin Cadogan on guitar in Third Eye Blind for a decade following his firing in 2000:
“Scattered” was originally demo’d in 1995 and I believe it was only properly recorded in the mid-2010s to commemorate Third Eye Blind’s self-titled albums 20th anniversary. It has the lyric “when I was a punk I was way more punk than you”;
“Eye Conqueror” is Third Eye Blinds contribution to the 2001 compilation “A Knights Tale Soundtrack”;
“Horror Show” is Third Eye Blind’s superb contribution to “Varsity Blues: Music From and Inspired By The Motion Picture” (1998):
“Blood Bank” is a cover of a Bon Iver song that Third Eye Blind snatched from the throes of obscurity on their 2018 covers EP “Thanks For Everything” which, coincidentally, is a benefit for the museum that I work at (yes, I’ve met them);
“Cop Versus Phone Girl” is Third Eye Blind’s incredibly cringe Black Lives Matter song from their 2016 EP “We Are Drugs”. Seriously, this thing pays increasing cringe dividends the longer you can stick with it;
“One In Ten” is the fifth track on Third Eye Blind’s fourth album, “Ursa Major” (2009). It is about trying to “flip” a lesbian, which, we’ve all been there right fellas??
“Disorder” is a standalone single where Third Eye Blind improves upon a Joy Division song by the same name, which I just realized was released in 2020 which makes me feel fucking insane:
“New Girl” is the Japanese bonus track to Third Eye Blind’s second album “Blue” (1999);
