First thing I noticed with Wilson is his big play ability. He has a strong arm and is a threat as a runner. Throws a pretty and accurate deep ball and has some decent velocity on throws on the run. Fast release and can throw the ball at different angles.
Wilson has great vision and when scrambling his eyes are always downfield. Excels at boot legs and read option.
Wilson’s biggest concerns moving forward are his injury history on his throwing shoulder and hand. The lack of competition he’s played against.
Zach’s worst game was against CCU where they were able to constantly put pressure on him.

Wilson struggled with reading the defense and picking up on blitzes. Something he can improve on moving forward.
This was one of my favorite plays of Wilson vs CCU. Running out of the pocket and making a throw across his body and delivering a dart right into his receivers chest.
This was Wilson’s best game of the season and a small sample size of his arm strength and accuracy. He throws this football perfectly where his WR could make a play on it.
As of right now I have Zach Wilson as my QB 3 behind Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields. He would be a great fit with the San Francisco 49ers or Washington Redskins. He’s a great talent that significantly improved his draft stock.
No doubt in my mind “The Mormon Manziel “ is a first round pick in the 2021 NFL draft. With the early success for young QBs like Burrow and Herbert I’m very excited to see what the future holds for Wilson!
