Take this example

Say your COGS is ÂŁ2 (including shipping)

For each single product you sell, you make around ÂŁ8 (before fees/taxes/marketing costs)
But if you give them the offer ‘Buy 2 get 1 Free’

You make around ÂŁ14 per order (+ slightly more as the shipping cost from the supplier will be the same for 3 items as it is for 1 item)
You are sacrificing slightly profit margins per unit sold, but it shouldn’t be seen that way

This is because you’re still making more profit per customer’s order than you would if you just sold 1 unit
The key is to make the buyer think they’re getting an INSANE offer in which they are ‘robbing’ us as a business by getting such a good deal

Little do they know that we are benefitting as a business more than they are
You want the customer to think

‘Oh, I Might aswell buy another 1 for myself/ a family member/ friend because then I get another for free’
The savings should be clear & obvious, which enhances the perceived value of what you’re selling & really emphasises the ‘amazing offer’ which they’re getting

Don’t make them do the maths

People don’t know how good of a deal they’re getting unless you clearly tell them

Use the tag “Most Popular” to show people this option is what other people are buying, adding a sense of buyer relatability

And “best value” to encourage the customer to spend more, as they will be getting the BEST value possible
đŸ§–đŸ»â€â™€ïžVolume pricing is so important to implement on your store, ESPECIALLY if you’re running a low priced item (<ÂŁ15)

Using volume pricing makes it SO much easier to be profitable on your store, as if used correctly, it will increase your Average Order Value significantly
