Happy Friday before Christmas
One of the best Fridays of the year
I use this day to reflect on the year in preparation for the new year

One of the best Fridays of the year
I use this day to reflect on the year in preparation for the new year
Here’s what I have learned
//A Thread//
1.) Things can always be worse
I’ve been blessed with keeping my job this year during a period when many people did not.
I have found a new appreciation for the relationships/situations/materials I do have and ignore those I do not have

2.) There’s a positive side to anything
This could be my mantra of the year. Obviously a laundry list of negative aspects of the year, but on the whole, I have been very lucky.
• Extended time with family
• Opportunity to hone in on work
• Paid off (almost) all my debt

3.) Persistence is Rewarded
Success usually isn’t attained over night. It requires constant sustained efforts to see real results. I’ve observed persistence this year in:
• Debt Payment
• Fitness
• Social Media Growth

4.) Family is Everything
The bonds with your family should be unbreakable. I’ve cried, laughed, and cheered with my family this year.
I’ve got a strong team I can rely on.

5.) The hardest thing to do is start
Student debt is a great example. I started this year with $36k in loans. I was intimidated. I took that first payment aggressively, and the rest followed.
Same can be said here on Twitter. Tell your story and hold yourself accountable.

Thank you to my Twitter family especially “the chapel” and the “elevate your game” team.
I’m a man full of blessings.
Here’s to a new year full of friends and family - not just over zoom/teams !
