Jenny and I were both vaccinated this week along with other doctors, nurses and healthcare workers. All of us will be needed in the coming weeks and months. 1/4
Some people question if the vaccine is necessary. It is. The vaccine teaches our bodies to fight the infection, making it less likely that you can catch COVID and less deadly if you do. 2/4
Administering it is a major logistical challenge. But an effective vaccine, taken by enough people as it becomes available, will allow us all to return to schools, stores, concerts, travel. 3/4
Taking it is just good citizenship. Please talk to your family, friends, coworkers. 4/4
