if any systems follow me from the tag, please understand I am very sensitive to system discourse and don't want to be around people who are suspicious of other systems who aren't like them
the fact is that DID and OSDD is so underresearched that saying things like "systems who have lots of fictives are fake" or "big systems are suspicious" or whatever isn't only wrong but extremely harmful to the community
we have literally no research about comorbidity with other mental illnesses and a lot of the reasons to call people "fake systems" disproportionately ends up affecting autistic systems, schizospec systems, non-white systems ect.
for example, from my experience a lot of systems with lots of fictives tend to be autistic and their hyperfixations on media from a young age affect them so much that it affects their system too. I've also found a lot of schizospec systems split often and may seem "inconsistant"
autistic systems may also have fictives who seem to act "fake" because of masking and because how they act in social situations that non-autistic might easily pick up as "weird". I just think people need to consider these things before calling someone they don't like fake
