/ Today was my last day at @MorningBrew. I am so grateful for the risk @businessbarista and @austin_rief took by hiring me 2+ years ago. This has been a hell of an adventure and I am incredibly excited for the next one

A few things, if you’ll indulge:
/ When I started in Oct ‘18 I journaled: “Now I’m in a position to win. There’s risk, ownership, and true happiness. I love telling people where I work and what I do. It’s difficult to not have someone tell you what to do. I think I thrive in this." I wanted a challenge.
/ I joined as a PM to help scale from one kick-ass product to a multi-product business. Looking back on my launches ( @etechbrew, @Retail_Brew, @MarketingBrew, @bizcasualpod), I’m quite pleased with how things turned out.
/ I’m most proud of the fact that the people behind those products and many others that I brought into the company are thriving. I’ve learned tons from you all. Gonna miss some tags but thx to those at the helm: @RyanfDuffy, @halie_lesavage, and @notnotphoebe
/ Launching Business Casual with @KinseyGrant (and then w @marilynhaigh + Quincy) has been amazing. They’ve put tons of love into the show and I can’t wait to see the most recent brainstorms come to life. Thanks for letting me be a part of the creative process.
/ This is a @SamirHSheth appreciation tweet. At first it was weird to get a boss but I’ve learned so much about content, product, and life from him–I’m lucky to leave a job with a friend and mentor.
/ What an absolute honor it is to work with smart people. The #1 reason why I loved my role is that I got a front row seat to so many different types of genius. This company was built by so many people accessing their true potential for the 1st time.
/ As for what’s next, I’m going to take a breath, work on a side project with my grandpa, consult a bit, and then hopefully go start something cool. I’m not exactly sure what, but I love the early stage and see a few opportunities to explore as the world quickly changes.
/ Today, all that matters is this: thank you MB and anyone that’s played a role in this. There’s so much ahead for the company and the people there and I’m excited to cheer you all on from the sidelines.
