Aside from weekly Friday night pizza night with my kids, by far best moment of today was announcing some members of our WH press team cc: @K_JeanPierre , so bear with me while I brag about them for a moment

. @RosemaryBoeglin has been a super star on the confirmations team, was a rapid response spokesperson on Biden-Harris campaign, and spokesperson for @SenSanders before that and she has a master's degree from the London School of Economics

After serving as comms director for @RepJayapal and as a spox @DNC, @vedantpatel90 played a pivotal role as the NV and Western States Comms Dir and as Regional Comms Dir on Biden-Harris campaign. I have yet to meet someone who hasn't loved working with him.

Before serving on the ART for DHS, @munozka315 was the Florida Press Sec for the Biden-Harris campaign and the Nevada Press Secretary for the primary campaign. Deeply substantive on a range of issue he will also add be a key voice in spanish language media (and has good TV recs)

My first impression of @ngeladelacruz was that she is all business with a smile. She is a press asst on the transition, and was a communications assistant on the Biden-Harris campaign. She is also from the same part of Queens as my Mom! (small world)

A recent graduate of Spelman College, @Amijah_TH worked on @KamalaHarris team and as an assistant in the comms office on the campaign. She also almost made my cry when I offered her the job and asked me what homework she should do to prepare.

When I interviewed Michael Kikukawa, he wore a tie and was helping his Grandmother in Alaska. He is an invaluable member of @TomPerez team @DNC who was kind enough to let him leave and join our team.

There are few jobs that require the combo of firmness and grace that the Chief of Staff for the press office does--Amanda Finney has both in droves. She has done women's outreach, organizing, digital correspondence. can't wait to seek her counsel.
